What We Do
A tool to begin earning. A space to move and belong. Someone to learn alongside. We bring practical support, skills and wellbeing together so women can build what comes next.

One connected approach
Limited resources, social isolation and unequal access can hold back women with skills and ambition. Our response connects income opportunities with practical learning, physical and mental wellbeing, and the support of a community. Women help shape the support around their lives.
Locally rooted support in Africa.
01 / Economic empowerment & livelihood support
In Nigeria and Cameroon, we support women in underserved and low-income communities, including informal traders and skilled women who need a modest start.
Small-scale funding, tools, equipment and start-up kits help women put existing skills to work. Support is shaped around each woman’s circumstances, with guidance and mentorship alongside practical resources.
A small start can open a door.
Our organisation profile describes support sometimes starting with as little as £40. The resources provided depend on each woman’s needs.
02 / Skills development & capacity building
Practical learning, guidance and mentorship strengthen women’s business, leadership and life skills. We value informal learning and lived experience alongside formal education, meeting women where they are.
01
Guidance that connects existing abilities with opportunities to earn and build a livelihood.
02
Support that recognises women’s voices and helps them take ownership of their progress.
03
Relevant learning and shared experience that help women move forward in everyday life.
03 / Health, fitness & wellbeing
Our Women’s African Dance & Fitness programme brings women together through exercise and cultural expression. In Dudley, West Midlands, free classes create space for wellbeing, renewed confidence and friendships.
Designed to include stay-at-home mums and women from diverse backgrounds, the programme helps address isolation and barriers to participation. Our wider wellbeing approach brings physical activity, mental wellbeing and community connection together.

We work alongside local leaders, volunteers, community organisations and institutions to keep support culturally relevant and community-owned. Women are encouraged to pass opportunity forward through mentorship, shared knowledge and support for others.
